The Great Northumberland Winter Festival

Explore nature and heritage through a range of traditional and creative activities including printmaking, willow bird feeders, traditional woodland crafts, campfire cooking and charcoal pencils. Thanks to Northumberland Cultural Fund all the activities are free - just drop in anytime to take part, in or near the café.

Tyne Valley Film Festival

The Tyne Valley Film Festival is a community programmed film festival with 30 screenings across 14 unique venues in the Tyne Valley. Led by The Forum Cinema in Hexham, and sponsored by Northumberland County Council. Full details of all screenings are on their website.

Hexham Spook Night

One of Hexham's biggest events, Hexham's Spook night celebrates Halloween with fairground rides, hot food, and fancy dress competitions, amongst other attractions. The event takes place around Beaumont Street, Market Place, and the Abbey grounds, all within the town centre. Free entry to the event, but charges will apply for fairground rides.
