Prudhoe’s railway station footbridge has been dismantled and removed to allow for its restoration.
For the time being, the station is without a footbridge. The line can still be crossed by foot at the level crossing, but you will need to allow extra time when catching a train. The crossing barriers close around 2 minutes before the approaching train arrives.
