Corbridge

Corbridge is a large village located about 3 miles downstream from Hexham on the banks of the River Tyne.

Corbridge has a number of pubs, restaurants, and shops. These, combined with a market square type area, give Corbridge a vibrant mini town feel.

The history of Corbridge stretches to the Roman era, with a Roman Fort site maintained by English Heritage and open to the public.

In recent years, Corbridge is unfortunate to have been affected by several major floods, the most recent being caused by storm Ciara in February 2020.
