One of Hexham's biggest events, Hexham's Spook night celebrates Halloween with fairground rides, hot food, and fancy dress competitions, amongst other attractions. The event takes place around Beaumont Street, Market Place, and the Abbey grounds, all within the town centre. Free entry to the event, but charges will apply for fairground rides.

Christmas fair with craft stalls, local food and drink, decorations, and gifts. To manage numbers, a pre-booking system will be in operation this year, which will open on 4th October. Event will run during farm shop opening hours.
With the 2020 and 2021 shows cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Northumberland County Show is set to return on Friday 3rd June 2022. The Bella Auto supercar show is set to return to Bywell on 5th June 2022. A number of supercars, prestige cars, and classic cars will be on display. There are normally admission charges for this event.
